Don't ask why I like to paint--I don' t know.  I just do.  I've pretty much decided that when I grow up, that' s what I'm going to be.  A painter.  Unlike Michealangelo, I like to do it standing up.  Or sitting down.  None of this on my back, looking at the ceiling stuff, thank you very much.

I paint in watercolor, and watercolor with other media, such as watercolor crayons and colored pencils.  Whatever it takes to do a good painting.

Landscapes and architectural scenes are what interest me most, but I enjoy figure and still life painting as well.  No florals, please!

CI'e been painting for about nine years.  Thankfully, my interests and personal approach are continually evolving and maturing.  I think that's good--the exciting part of life is change--at least constructive change.

For you other painters, who may be interested, I'd evaluate my approach to painting as somewhere between representational and semi-abstract, with emphasis on design and color.  I' not a deliberate value painter.

Content-wise, I vary between emphasis on idea, and emphasis on form.  I paint both trasnparently and opaquely.

I'm much more interested in conveying emotion or mood, than I am with realisim.  I guess that makes me more a conceptual painter than a perceptual one.

For you non painters, you can simply look around, and see if there' s anything you like.  I hope there is.
